Design Standards for Control Panels

We are a UL-508A certified panel shop. Periodic audits by UL field inspectors ensure that our panels are built to code with the tools required. UL certified components will be used in our panels. For UL-508A projects, our panels will be labeled with a UL-508A certification label as well as have proper labelling for technical ratings that verify all of the required standards and calculations are met. When your project requires UL-508A certified panels, whether it is a government facility requirement, a customer requirement, insurance provider requirement, or requirement due to a specific jurisdiction of where the equipment is installed, you can rely on Izumi International for your UL-508A control panel needs.

Our panels also follow NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and NFPA 79 (Electrical Standard for Industrial Machinery).

We supply equipment to Europe, and our control panel designs comply with CE Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU.

Full Design or Build to Drawings

We can design panels based on your requirements, equipment drawings, or application details. Our electrical engineers can provide guidance on best practices based on your application and also provide component selection assistance. We can provide HMI design as well as PLC programming when required. We have experience with a wide range of HMI and PLC manufacturers as well as variable frequency drives, servo drives, and other control components. On-site installation of panels can be performed to dock the controls with the equipment, for final adjustment and operation verification.

We also build panels from completed schematics. Materials can be supplied by the customer or we can undertake material procurement for the control panel.
